Dr. Tejraj M. Aminabhavi

Dr. Tejraj Aminabhavi earned his Ph.D. in 1979 from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. He served as a professor of Physical Chemistry (1980-2002) and was the founder Director of the Center of Excellence in Polymer Science at Karnatak University, Dharwad (2002-2007). Following this, he was the scientific advisor to Reliance Life Sciences, Navi Mumbai (2007-2012). Currently, he holds the position of Emeritus Fellow sponsored by the All India Council for Technical Education (2012-2014) and serves as the Research Director at Soniya College of Pharmacy. Dr. Aminabhavi is widely recognized, contributing to numerous scientific publications, patents, and serving on the editorial boards of prominent journals. His extensive research spans molecular transport, membrane-based separations, drug delivery, and various polymer-related technologies, showcasing a profound impact on the field.

Prof. Nitin Seth

Prof. Nitin Seth presently serves as the Director of the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR/CEFIPRA). With over 25 years of experience in Industry, Teaching, Research, Consulting, and Training, he obtained his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi and conducted post-doctoral research in Germany and France. Prof. Seth has managed numerous international projects, conducted programs in over 40 countries, and published extensively in international journals. Recognized with the Emerald Literati award, he has guided PhD scholars and numerous students. Prof. Seth's work on supply chain efficiency, sectorial logistics, and international cooperation has garnered praise from esteemed organizations, including NITI AAYOG and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Currently involved in G20 Logistics group, Science diplomacy, and national research committees, he contributes significantly to the academic and research landscape.

Prof. Antonio Miotello

Antonio Miotello is full professor of experimental Physics at the Department of Physics in Trento. University. Here he was director, deputy director, and now is dean of the Department and is head of “IdEA (Hydrogen, Energy, Environment)” laboratory dedicated to material science for production of new materials relevant in the energy and environmental fields. The research activity has also allowed the development of patents for industrial applications in the field of solar concentration and coating of materials operating in extreme pressure and temperature conditions.

Dr. Maulik K Patel

Dr. Patel, a Physics Ph.D. from BARC, India, and a former researcher at LANL, is a Senior Lecturer in Nuclear Materials at the University of Liverpool (UoL), UK. He oversees the Dual Ph.D. program with NTHU Taiwan, chairs the Gender Equality SAT committee, and leads the GREEN-CDT for nuclear energy skills. With 43 published papers, his research covers radiation effects, renewable energy materials, and innovative approaches to catalysts and powder metallurgy in Al-alloy additive manufacturing. Dr. Patel specializes in simulating radiation effects and characterizing materials using diverse techniques, including high-energy accelerators and microscopy.

Dr. Michele Orlandi

Dr. Lejo Joseph

Dr. Lejo, with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from Dr. B.A.Tech., an MSc in Telecommunication Engineering, and a Professional Masters in Nano Micro Systems, is the Head of the R&D Solar Cells Department. In this capacity, he leads a team responsible for close collaboration with industrial partners. Lejo also plays a crucial role in the ISC-Technology transfer team, overseeing the transfer of thermal processes to industrial production lines. His educational background, coupled with his position, positions him as a key figure in research, focusing on simulation, process development, and optimization of solar cell structures, particularly addressing metallization-induced recombination losses.

Dr. Radovan Kopecek

Dr Radovan Kopecek received his diploma in physics from the University of Stuttgart in 1998 and studied as well at Portland State University (Oregon, USA), where he obtained a Master of Science degree already in 1995. In 2002, he completed his doctoral thesis in Konstanz in the field of crystalline thin-film photovoltaics. Until the end of 2006, he was group leader for n-type cell technology at the University of Konstanz. As one of the founders of ISC Konstanz, Dr Kopecek has been a full-time manager and researcher at the institute since 2007 and was managing director, CTO and head of the Advanced Solar Cells department until June 2023 and head of the Strategy and Education department since July 2023. He is the author of several books and more than 200 articles and holds several patents for the production of n-type PV technologies. He is the organizer of several workshops that he started in Konstanz, such as nPV, bifiPV, tandemPV and BCworkshop. Dr Kopecek was on the board of EUREC (Association of EU's R&D centers involved in renewables) from 2016 to 2021. In 2018, he co-founded ATAMOSTEC - a research and development center for desert modules and systems in Chile and has been on the board since 2022. In 2022, Dr Kopecek was also elected to the board of the ESMC (European Solar Manufacturing Council). Since May 2023, he has been one of the spokespersons for the PV Production Working Group of the BMWK(Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection).

Dr. Suryasarathi Bose

Dr. Bose is a dedicated materials engineer with a diverse academic and professional journey. Holding a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Dr. Bose's expertise spans functional nanocomposites and blends. Dr. Bose has undertaken significant research roles, including positions at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research in Dresden, Germany, and the Katholieke University of Leuven in Belgium. Over the years, Dr. Bose has progressed through the ranks at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), serving as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and currently as a Professor in the Department of Materials Engineering since September 2022. Dr. Bose's academic trajectory reflects a commitment to advancing materials science, complemented by hands-on experience and international collaborations.

Dr. Chinnakaruppan Adaikkan

Dr. Chinnakaruppan Adaikkan is a neurobiologist, affiliated with the Centre for Brain Research, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. His research is on deciphering neural mechanisms underlying cognitive and systemic defects in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. More specifically, his research revolves around how AD-associated pathology affects external sensory representations, memory, and internal body state. He obtained his Doctoral degree from University of Haifa, Haifa, Israel and his Post-Doctoral training from the Massachusetts Institute of Tech., Cambridge, USA. He obtained his under-graduate and postgraduate degrees from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, India. He has been awarded prestigious awards, including the DBT/Wellcome Trust Intermediate Fellowship, the NARSAD Young Investigator Award, and a Research Fellowship from the European Consortium. Three of his inventions have been patented in the USA. His research is funded by several agencies, summing around Rs. 2 crores
